PREPARING FOR THE NEXT GENERATION WORKFORCE [PANEL & NETWORKING]
Thursday, August 14, 2025 | 4:30PM – 7:00PM
The construction industry will need to attract an estimated 439,000 net new workers in 2025 to meet anticipated demand for construction services, according to a proprietary model developed and released by Associated Builders and Contractors. In 2026, the industry will need to bring in 499,000 new workers as spending picks up in response to presumed lower interest rates. These problems of today will continue if we do not start to make an impact now.
Join us for a panel event full of information about what you can do now and how you can connect with students in middle and high school as they start to plan for their careers. Speakers will share success stories of Work-Based Learning Opportunities through the Department of Education, including Career Presentations, Youth Apprenticeship, Job Shadowing, and Internships.
Please note: ALL members are encouraged to attend this event.
After the panel, head over to Honor Brewing next door for fun networking over drinks and appetizers!
