EXCELERATE YOUR SKILLS – MICROSOFT EXCEL FOR CONSTRUCTION PROFESSIONALS

Maximize the power of an Excel spreadsheet to assist you with every day construction tasks like workforce scheduling, estimating, and data analysis. We’ll be demonstrating:
– Basic functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
– Conditional function ( IF, AND, OR, NOT)
– Lookup and calculate functions using tables of data
– Spreadsheet collaboration – Sharing files with multiple users
– Protecting formulas from inadvertent changes or edits – defining, locking, and unlocking cells.
– Linking Spreadsheets together to combine data from multiple sources
– How to create basic charts and graphs.
This is a hands-on learning class – bring your laptop (with a copy of Excel already loaded), a mouse, and a power cord to class.

The Construction Quality Management course offers prospective QC Managers and Administrators the opportunity to satisfy the CQM-C training requirements specified in most USACE and NAVFAC construction contracts. This course must be taken and the final test must be passed by any person aspiring to be the QC Manager/Administrator or alternate. The Contractors Quality Control (CQC) requirements and the Governments Quality Assurance (QA) roles are reviewed. Laptop/desk required.
A course certificate, valid for a five-year period from the date of the class, will be awarded to those who satisfactory complete the training and pass the final exam. At this time, any person that needs to recertify must attend a class.

In this Introduction to Microsoft Project 2016: Getting Started class, students will spend time getting comfortable with the Project 2016 user interface, including project views and the ribbon.
