BEYOND THE HYPE: REAL TALK ABOUT A.I. IN CONSTRUCTION ROUNDTABLE
Thursday, December 4, 2025 | 11:30AM – 1:00PM
A.I. is already reshaping the construction industry – what’s next? Join us for an open discussion focused on A.I. making real-world impact in our industry and implementation strategies.
Monty Lay, Director of Preconstruction at ColonialWebb Contractors, and Shane Oberholtzer, President of eTEC Mechanical Corporation, will open the program with an overview of AI’s influence on the construction industry from capital investment to construction demand, and what it means for your business – even if you are not using AI yet. We’ll cut through the hype to explain what AI really is: how it’s evolved and where it stands today, including tools like ChatGPT and other Large Language Models (LLMs). Monty and Shane will wrap up with real-world examples of using AI-powered Excel for project management and applying AI to improve sales and training.
Then it’s time for some real talk! Attendees will dive into an interactive discussion on how firms are adopting and implementing AI, the challenges they face, and what the future of AI looks like in construction.
Who should attend: Construction Executives & Project Managers, anyone exploring AI’s role in operations, safety, or design
