    FALL PROTECTION TRAINER Thursday, March 12, 2026  |  8:00AM – 4:00PM REGISTER HERE Falls are the Leading Cause of Death in Construction. In 2021, there were 390 fatal falls out of the 951 construction fatalities (BLS data). These deaths are preventable. This course will help you plan, prepare and deliver fall protection training to your workers to prevent injuries and fatalities from falls. Objective: This program provides the elements to develop a good Fall Protection Training Program to include: Determine fall protection training needs Identify goals and objectives Identify materials and information necessary to train employees Develop learning activities (i.e., lecture, on-the-job, hands-on, discussion, or a combination of all of these) Conduct the training each student will be responsible to develop and present an assigned topic on fall protection to the class and be evaluated on that presentation.     CPR, AED & FIRST AID CERTIFICATION Friday, November 20, 2026  |  8:00AM - 12:00PM ABC Virginia certifies hundreds of individuals each year in First-Aid and CPR/AED using the Health Safety Institute’s (HSI) training content. ABC-VA’s primary goal is to create confidence in its students’ abilities to handle emergency situations. Our instructors provide clear explanations of the subject matter in a relaxed environment. Instructors focus on the importance of controlling, with confidence, medical emergencies and providing life support for victims of sudden illness or injury. The certification issued to each participant is valid for two years. LOCATION ABC-VA Central VA Training Facility 1600 E Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23228 COST Member: $98 Non-Member: $125 Includes training materials, lunch, and snacks.
