DESCRIPTION:YOUNG PROFESSIONALS HARD HAT TOUR: VIRGINIA BEACH ATLANTIC SURF PARK\nTuesday\, September 24\, 2024  |  4:00PM – 6:00PM\nABC-VA Young Professionals: join us for an insider view of the brand new Atlantic Surf Park where we will learn about the PM perspective of this project followed by a tour of the jobsite guided and narrated by a superintendent. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early\, so the tour can start promptly at 4:00PM. Special thanks to W.M. Jordan for hosting this event! This event is for Young Professionals 40 & under. Please join us after the tour for networking at Harvest\, a short walk from the jobsite.  \nW. M. Jordan Company is the construction manager of the new Atlantic Park Mixed Use Development in Virginia Beach\, featuring a 2-acre wave lagoon. The surf park will utilize an emerging wave technology\, making this the East Coast’s most compelling outdoor adventure vacation destination. \nThe 10-acre multi-use development will include 120\,000 square feet of diverse retail and a 70\,400 square foot\, 3-level live entertainment venue\, promoting off-season tourism and local quality of life. In addition to entertainment aspects\, the development will include 15\,000 square feet of contemporary office space and 310\,000 square feet of vibrant\, resort style apartments. \n**PPE is required for this tour: hard hat\, safety vest\, safety glasses and steel-toe work boots. Attendees must bring their own. You will not be permitted to join the tour without the mentioned PPE at minimum.** \nDIRECTIONS/PARKING **PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**\nThe office compound is 367 18th Street Virginia Beach\, VA. There will be no parking by the office compound. There is a free parking site at 18th & Birdneck – across 18th from McDonalds. This is about a mile from the site.
