Intermediate Excel Training for Construction Professionals 6/24 CV

INTERMEDIATE EXCEL TRAINING FOR CONSTRUCTION PROFESSIONALS
Wednesday, June 24, 2026  |  3:00PM – 5:00PM
Level up your Excel skill set – This intermediate Excel program builds on basic skills to help construction professionals analyze data, control calculations, combine information from multiple sources, and create clear visual summaries for decision making. The instructor will also demonstrate how to use AI in Excel to streamline tasks and improve your work flow.

What you’ll learn:
1. Smarter Calculations: Making spreadsheet calculations respond automatically to different conditions and using logic to control results based on project data
2. Working With Data Tables – Pulling information from reference tables and calculating values based on matching items such as labor classes, material types, or cost codes
3. Spreadsheet Collaboration – Sharing Excel files with multiple users, understanding how changes are tracked, and best practices to avoid overwriting work
4. Protecting Your Work – Locking important cells so calculations can’t be accidentally changed, allowing users to edit only specific areas, and protecting worksheets and files
5. Linking Multiple Spreadsheets – connecting data between different Excel files, using linked files for project roll-ups and reporting
6. Visualizing Data – Creating basic charts and graphs

This is a hands-on learning class – bring your laptop (with a copy of Excel pre-loaded), a mouse, and a power cord to class.
