Each student will leave with the skills and confidence to create and implement a logical process and an efficient environment that will promote a complete close-out. This seminar is for administrative employees, superintendents, and project managers of general contractors and specialty contractors.

Learn to correctly complete the submittals process insuring on-time and in-budget construction. This seminar will provide information on the responsibilities of suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, architects, and engineers. Attendees will learn how to create proper submittal packages from start to finish using contract documents as well as learn key details that can save the company time and money.
This seminar is geared towards subcontracting firms and supplier companies who would like more insight into how the submittal process works and how they can achieve timeliness and success with their packages. Learn the role and importance submittal packages have in the construction process and how to achieve an approval the first time.

ABOUT BRYAN JONES
Bryan Jones is the President of the Construction Division at Hourigan. Hourigan is an integrated construction and development firm working across the Mid-Atlantic. Bryan joined the firm in 2016 with an impressive record of national leadership positions, including the role of president for a supply chain logistics firm and an e-commerce retail business. A decorated veteran, Bryan previously served in logistics management as a Supply Corps Officer after his graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in mechanical engineering. He received his master’s degree in management from the Florida Institute of Technology. Prior to his appointment as President, Bryan served as Chief Administrative Officer at Hourigan. Under his leadership, the firm has received numerous awards including ENR’s 2021 Mid-Atlantic Contractor of the Year, a 2022 Top 400 National Contractor and Fortune’s 2022 Best Workplaces in Construction™. Bryan has also volunteered as a baseball, basketball, and softball coach. Both on and off the field, he excels in personnel management, logistics, and strategic planning. He’s also actively involved in the lives of his children, Peyton and Ryleigh, and his wife of over 25 years, Stephanie.

Microsoft Copilot is an AI-powered tool integrated into Microsoft 365 applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more. It uses advanced language models to assist users with tasks such as drafting text, creating presentations, analyzing data, and managing workflows.
What You’ll Learn:
1. Integration Across Microsoft 365: Copilot is embedded within popular Microsoft applications, allowing users to leverage AI without leaving their familiar environments. This includes apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and others.
2. Productivity Enhancement: In Word, Copilot can help draft documents, generate summaries, and suggest edits.
