EMAIL & TEXTING COMMUNICATIONS: DON’T GIVE TOO LITTLE • LUNCH & LEARN
Tuesday, June 16, 2026 |  11:30AM – 1:00PM
Don’t you hate getting three or four emails a day from the same person? How about when you really need to communicate with someone and you get ignored? Do you get stuck when you need to share difficult information?

Sometimes it is hard to even decide how to communicate information. We will dive deep into messaging through different delivery systems and how to determine which one to use.

Our Objectives
• Understand both communications channels to better determine how to communicate with employees, executives, and clients
• Learn to develop messages appropriate for each channel
• Identify individual communications weakness to improve
• Develop messages which capture your reader’s attention, build relationships, and create action

INSTRUCTOR
Susan Long-Molnar, President, Managing Communications
– Susan Long-Molnar is a lifelong professional communicator with over 35 years of experience assisting business owners and their employees to communicate effectively so they exceed their business goals. After five years of entrepreneurship, she began an 11-year corporate jaunt in communications management, first at Sentara, followed by Cox Communications, then USAA and many other well-known brands.

    &

MIKKI PARADIS
Keynote Speaker • Entrepreneur • Construction Industry Leader
Mikki Paradis helps professionals build confidence, influence, and leadership that holds up under pressure. As the founder and president of a successful construction company she launched before graduating from NC State University, Mikki has built her career inside one of the most demanding, male-dominated industries in the country. She understands firsthand that leadership isn’t granted by title—it’s earned through clarity, consistency, and the courage to take responsibility for your impact.

Today, Mikki speaks to audiences across the construction industry and beyond on what it means to build with purpose and lead with confidence—from the inside out. Her signature keynotes use a construction-inspired framework to turn abstract ideas like confidence and influence into practical, buildable skills.

Audiences walk away with real tools to lead without ego, communicate with intention, protect their mindset, and stay connected to what truly powers their performance.

Known for her grounded delivery, relatable storytelling, and job-site-relevant insights, Mikki resonates with both men and women by speaking to the human side of leadership—pressure, responsibility, trust, and growth. Her message is clear: confidence isn’t something you’re born with or fake until you make—it’s something you build.
———————
Mikki has delivered keynote addresses for industry associations, business organizations, and leadership events, including NAWIC chapters and mixed-audience construction conferences. Whether she’s speaking on influence without authority, leadership under pressure, or confidence under construction, Mikki challenges audiences to stop waiting for permission and start owning the impact they already have.
