Spanning seven stories and encompassing 209\,000 square feet\, this visionary endeavor seeks to consolidate Virginia Commonwealth University’s (VCU) arts and innovation programs under one roof. VCU aims to create a dynamic environment where creativity flourishes\, interdisciplinary collaboration thrives\, and students are equipped with the skills to tackle the world’s toughest challenges. The primary goal of the project is to provide state-of-the-art facilities\, including hybrid classroom-laboratories\, performance venues\, and makerspaces\, while fostering a culture of flexibility and sustainability. Hourigan\, serving as the construction manager\, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the project from inception to completion.
