Session #5 of the 2019 ABC-VA Project Manager Development Series will provide class members
training on the Design-Build method from risk allocation and legal perspectives. The evolution of the
Design-Build method has resulted in the allocation of risk through contracts. Evaluating risk and
understanding the language in Design-Build contracts, either from an Owner, to a Designer, or a Subcontractor is essential to any Project Manager. This class will focus on the key language of these contracts and the potential liability to their company if not understood. Additional topics related to mitigating risk will also be discussed. Conducted by an Architect, Attorney, and General Contractor, the presenters will provide perspective on the Design-Build method and essential factors to a successful project.
This class is limited to 24 participants!
