DESCRIPTION:REGION 4 WORK-BASED LEARNING PANEL & LUNCH • Workforce Development Opportunity\nFriday\, May 17\, 2024  |  11:00AM – 1:00PM\nThe Northern Virginia Workforce Development Committee is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a panel luncheon with the Region Four Work-Based Learning representatives on Friday\, May 17\, 2024\, from 11:00 am to 12 Noon. \nThis is an exciting effort we have put together to give you the full scoop on how you can take advantage of the Department of Education’s initiative to enable students to apply classroom instruction in a real-world business or service-oriented work environment. \nThe groundwork is laid\, the plan is in place\, and this initiative gives you the chance to showcase construction career opportunities to students enrolled in grades 6 – 12.
