    OSHA 501 - TRAINER COURSE IN OSHA STANDARDS FOR GENERAL INDUSTRY REGISTER HERE Offered by Mid Atlantic OTI Education Center, this course will be held at ABC-VA Northern Virginia Training Facility, Host Training Organization September 14 - 17, 2026  |  8:00AM – 4:00PM This course is designed for individuals interested in teaching the 10 and 30-hour general industry safety and health Outreach training program to their employees and other interested groups. Using the OSHA General Industry Standards as a guide, special emphasis is placed on those topics required in the 10- and 30-hour programs as well as those which are most hazardous. Students are briefed on effective instructional approaches and use of visual aids and handouts. This course allows the student to become a trainer in the OSHA Outreach Training Program, to conduct both 10- and 30-hour General Industry Outreach classes, and to issue cards to participants after verifying course completion.     CONSTRUCTION QUALITY MANAGEMENT Wednesday, September 16, 2026  |  7:30AM – 5:00PM  |  ABC-VA Dulles The Construction Quality Management course offers prospective QC Managers and Administrators the opportunity to satisfy the CQM-C training requirements specified in most USACE and NAVFAC construction contracts. This course must be taken and the final test must be passed by any person aspiring to be the QC Manager/Administrator or alternate. The Contractors Quality Control (CQC) requirements and the Governments Quality Assurance (QA) roles are reviewed. Training materials provided. A course certificate, valid for a five-year period from the date of the class, will be awarded to those who satisfactory complete the training and pass the final exam. OSHA’s electrical standards are designed to protect employees exposed to dangers such as electric shock, electrocution, fires, and explosions. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills to prepare and deliver training that explain hazards and acceptable corrective measures for Electrical Safety. This Trainer Course is recommended for inspectors, auditors, safety and health professionals and those personnel responsible for writing, auditing, or training employees with an active role in electrical safety policy and procedures.
