Fall protection training

This seminar will illustrate the forces imposed on the body during a fall and how to reduce these
forces to prevent injury. Students receive hands-on training experience to fall protection systems.
The emphasis of this course is placed on:
-The components of a fall arrest system
-Identifying the system criteria, components, supports & connecting devices
-Learning the fall protection equipment inspection process
-Fall Protection Regulations – Subpart M
-Elimination and controls
-Detailed inspection of equipment components and systems
-Fall protection assessments
Students must bring their own fall protection equipment including harness and lanyard as the
inspection process will be covered.
