Meet the Speakers
Zach Coffey, General Superintendent at Gilbane Building Company

Zach Coffey, a general superintendent at Gilbane Building Company, has spent the last 13 years building projects along the east coast. From project manager to
superintendent, Zach has seen it all. His expertise lie in large law firm and
high-end interior work, where he has had to run fast-track schedules, manage
contractor relationships, and oversee estimating and budgeting.

Kevin Cole, CEO, Ennis Electric

Kevin Cole began his career with Ennis in 1991 as an electrical apprentice. Since
then, he has worked and managed projects as small as $100,000 and as large as
$40,000,000; both new and renovation construction projects.

Now, CEO of Ennis Electric, he is responsible for all business development, preconstruction services, design and estimating. In addition to participating in the management of the company’s operation, he also oversees all aspects of the company’s finances.

Shannon Kualii, Project Manager & LEED AP BD+C, E.E. Reed

Shannon Kualii has been in the Construction industry for over twelve years, the past nine of which have been with the general contracting firm E.E. Reed Construction, L.P.

After pursuing a career in optometry, she took an opportunity to work in the building industry and has found her passion in the challenges that each project presents and the relationships built along the way.

Combined with her work ethic, her leap into the industry paid off: as a project manager she’s managed more than 500,000 square feet of new base building construction in the greater Washington, D.C. area.  Two of her projects of have won Fairfax County Awards of Excellence, including the 140,000 square foot Newington DVS Maintenance Facility.  She’s an example of what a person can achieve when accountability starts from within.

Kaitlyn Duffy, Marketing Manager, Regional Pursuits and Subcontractor Relationships
