The Lifecycle Career Development of the Construction Employee

ABC-VA provides recomended training for two tracts:

Field Tract
The field tract is designed for journey, crew leaders, and superintendents.

Office Tract
The office tract is designed for project assistants, project managers, senior project managers, and construction executives. 


Electives
ABC-VA also offers electives in the following areas to supplement the core curriculum: construction management, human resources, commuication and leadership, legal, business, hispanic language and resources, and green.

Member of the Year

The 2008 Member of the Year is R.W. Murray Co.’s Bill Fairchild. The Virginia Chapter was honored to have our very own former chapter Chairman of the Board serve as the National Chair in 2008. It was a busy year for Bill. He traveled 82,000 miles. In January alone, he visited 10 chapters. He took 53 ABC-related trips in 2008 and was away from home 117 nights on ABC business. Bill’s commitment to ABC is unprecedented and highly appreciated.
